CafeWiFi Policy

These Terms set out the basic conditions for using CafeWiFi.

1. Service Overview
CafeWiFi is a service for finding cafe Wi-Fi speeds, power outlet availability, and store information, and for letting users share measurements and cafe details.
2. Accounts
- Some features require signing in with a Google account.
- You are responsible for managing the account you use to sign in.
- Unauthorized use, impersonation, and operations that are not permitted are prohibited.
3. Posts and Measurement Data
- Please take care that cafe information and measurement results you register or edit are accurate.
- CafeWiFi may correct or delete misinformation, duplicates, rights-infringing content, or content that is inappropriate for operating the service.
- Speed measurements use Measurement Lab (M-Lab) NDT7. Please also review the M-Lab policies shown before starting a measurement.
4. Prohibited Conduct
- Acts that violate laws, regulations, or public order and morals
- Acts that infringe third-party rights, privacy, or reputation
- Acts that place excessive load on the service, external APIs, or databases
- Posting false information, spam, scraping, reverse engineering, or other acts that interfere with operation
5. External Services
CafeWiFi uses external services such as Google, Supabase, Measurement Lab, Anthropic, and GeoJS. The connection IP address is sent to GeoJS when it is used to adjust city order on the home page. The terms of use and privacy policies of each external service may apply.
6. Disclaimer
- CafeWiFi does not guarantee the accuracy or continuous availability of cafe information, business hours, Wi-Fi speeds, power outlet availability, or similar information.
- Search, measurement, or posting features may become unavailable due to network conditions, cafe equipment, external service outages, or similar causes.
- If device location or the approximate location from GeoJS is unavailable, cities on the home page remain in the default order.
- Except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the operator, the operator is not liable for damages arising from use of the service.
7. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be changed as needed. If there are material changes, we will provide notice through the service in an easy-to-understand way.
